Please send me your styles for testing

I am slowly chugging along on my quest to build a CMS that couples loosely with vB. I am now working on programming issues, but would welcome the opportunity to evaluate how my design choices get impacted by different style settings typically selected by vB hosts.

I would greatly appreciate anyone who cares to send me a style export for testing to see how it affects my CMS appearance. I have only selected a subset of all available replacementsets at this point, and I did it in a more simplistic way than vB. I think I have made some good mapping choices. But the real proof will be in the pudding (I wonder where that expression comes from?).

So for anyone who would be willing to share a styleset, please export and email it to me at bob@bobcosta.com. If you want me to delete it from my board after testing, I will gladly and promptly do so. I do not need button sets or logos. My concern is in the other parts of the implementation.

Of course, I still have lots of work left to do, but certain choices now MAY affect how I implement some future portions of the CMS, so any test contributions gratefully accepted.

One of my big concerns is that I implemented an adequate subset of the replacement set, and did it in an adequate way. Anything really slick (bordering on a hack) might force me to go back and rethink my approach. I elected to not use a straight replacement appraoch like vB did, in an effort to make the code more maintenance friendly. Maybe I failed.

Hi Firefly.

I do know there are unsubstantiated rumors of a possible CMS forthcoming maybe, with no clue as to features or functionality or delivery date. I know that my inquiries about it have been ignored or stonewalled.. I know nothing about anything official.

Kier already posted many many bits of information about the CMS, so I can tell you it's official.

But we gotta wait for vb3... which is constantly being delayed
