Popup Announcement
 

Not sure if this is a hack yet or not. How about a hack where you can make an accouncement in the Admin CP, and when members come to the board the announcement will pop up in a Small windows. I know if i make an announcement and post it in all forums it hardly ever gets read. Would be nice if it also had the option in the admin cp to be turned on or off.

It would be really nice :) And also it would be nice to have something like a "broadcast hack", this way you could send a pop-up message to everyuser online. This would be useful when you're about to close the forum for upgrading or when an important event is about to start, etc :) What do you guys think?

I believe There's already hack for that to send instant popup message to users who are online. Not sure where it is but it's in the hacks forums somewhere.

Yes there's the option in the user cp -> user options...

As for a pop up message just use Javasript ;)

I only found this one: vB Popup Messaging Utility v.0.1

But this one is really old. It would be nice, if someone bring out a Final Version, which will include to send a message to online users only.
