Getting number of posts for the day for individual forums and get it on non VB page?

I don't even know if this would even be considered a hack. All I want is to be able to show how many new threads have been created in specific forums on a non VB page. If somebody could help me with this I would greatly appreciate it.

BTW I have 2.0.3 if that matters, which I don't think it would for such a small thing.

You have to create your pages in PHP and in the PHP codes connect and make queries in your vb db. Requires PHP+SQL knowledge.

If what you wanted was to post "how many threads in a specific forum" then you could do it with Webtemplates Hack by creating WebQueries for your sql queries. However this hack does not support date conversions (yet!), so you cant query how many "new threads" exist with this hack..

Unfortunantly I am still pretty much a noob when it comes down to coding that kind of stuff. I have a hack that does this on FORUM pages, but everytime I ask somebody for instructions on how to get FORUM vars onto a non-VB page, they seem to ignore me. :(
