*vb+php-nuke hack*

OK, what i've made:
-----------------------------
hacked 3 vb files, so when user registers, changes his info, or admin is adding user, changes user info, deletes it- all this information goes
into nuke_users table too. and when user changes info in nuke, same info goes into vb's user table (i included php-nuke 5.5 hacked Your_account/index.php)
-----------------------------

note: this hack is running in my site, without any problem :)

btw, i included small install script, which transfers vbulletin users to php-nuke users table

more info in file.........

-----------------------------
Questions? Suggestions?

tested on 2.2.5 too :)

it's just a small step into full nuke and vb integration
(latest nuke+latest vb)

:)

what does it do... wats the point of the nuke table?

w4u 03-25-2002 09:35 AM

vb and nuke uses diff. users tables (vb- users; nuke- nuke_users)

are we talking vb in one database and nuke in another or both in the same?

w4u 03-25-2002 01:09 PM

currently it supports only one db. if you want to use 'em you must add several lines, so that vb 'll write user info and to other db.

There's already a portal out there that uses the PHPNuke engine and is completely compatible with vB.

It can be found here:

hey i'm using phpnuke 5.3 > will it work? and also, is the database of users merged or wut?

Sigon 03-25-2002 07:21 PM

Yes that portal costs money if you want help and its called vBportal. At least phpnuke is always coming out with different modules and such. Yeah they aren't the best with releases but hey it works better than vBportal I think. Great hack man nice work.
