alert when user is online.
 

I think someone should make a hack, where a user could click a link or check a box next to a user's name that would alert them when they came online. It could pop-up a box and say XXXX is now online.

Just a thought!

am currently working on a hack that would enable you to private chat with an Online user you choose
instead of PM them , you would be able to chat with them real time, that invloved autosign up in a text like chat and you get a list of online users you can talk to or just post it to everyone on the board :rambo:

Any progress on this hack ?

i did an online Instant messenger, PHP+JS,
didnt port it to Vbulltin Hacks yet. that would be easy anyway, the problem was to get it working in the first place without the user clicking or triggering any events
