.htaccess
I want to ban one proxy, from this proxy I get only one person and he acts like hell on my board.
I hear from several people that I can do it with .htaccess, but I do not know how and can find the exact info for this. the proxy looks like this : d93e4a5F1.host.name.net would be an .htaccess with the following lines enough to keep this proxy of my site and grand access for all others : order allow, deny allow from all deny from .host.name.net If this is right, must there be a .(dot) for host yes or no ? Please help me on this. |
PHP Code:
That is both d93e4a5F1.host.name.net, xxxx.host.name.net or yyyy.xxxx.host.name.net will be banned.. However I dont think banning users via .htaccess is a good idea. You may have only 1 user from that host at the moment but by banning him in .htaccess, you ban your prospective members too.. I were you, I would regard hacks like Hell-ban Regards, |
