Avatar/Upload Bug in 2.2.4?

Has anyone else had this problem?

FWIW this problem isn't happening on either of my two essentially non-hacked forums.

Hrmmm... thanks, Smachol. There isn't a directory that we need to have chmodded properly in order for uploads to occur, right?

I've been able to upload just fine via the control panel, but not via the EDIT PROFILE feature from the main boards.

According to http://www.vbulletin.com/manual/avatars.html -

Quote:

Technical Note: All avatars that are uploaded to vBulletin by the administrator are stored directly on the web server hard disk drive. Custom avatars uploaded by users are stored in the MySQL database.
This wouldn't have anything to do with it, would it?

Paste your modifyavatar template here please.

Axel Foley 03-20-2002 07:25 PM

FireFly, could it be the modifyavatar template?

I'll paste you mine (not modified):

Code:

{htmldoctype}
<html>
<head>
<title>$bbtitle - Change options</title>
$headinclude
</head>
<body>
$header

<!-- breadcrumb -->
<table cellpadding="2" cellspacing="0" border="0" width="{contenttablewidth}" {tableinvisibleextra} align="center">
<tr>
        <td width="100%"><img src="{imagesfolder}/vb_bullet.gif" align="middle" alt="vBulletin">
        <normalfont><b><a href="index.php?s=$session[sessionhash]">$bbtitle</a> &gt;
        <a href="usercp.php?s=$session[sessionhash]">User Control Panel For $bbuserinfo[username]</a></b></normalfont></td>
</tr>
</table>
<!-- /breadcrumb -->

<br>
$cpnav
<br>

<form $enctype action="member.php" method="post">
<input type="hidden" name="s" value="$session[sessionhash]">

<table cellpadding="{tableouterborderwidth}" cellspacing="0" border="0" bgcolor="{tablebordercolor}" {tableouterextra} width="{contenttablewidth}" align="center"><tr><td>

        <td bgcolor="{secondaltcolor}"><normalfont><b>Use avatar</b></normalfont><br><smallfont>Avatars are small graphics that are displayed under your username whenever you post.</smallfont></td>
        <td bgcolor="{secondaltcolor}"><normalfont><input type="radio" name="avatarid" value="-1" $nouseavatarchecked> no</normalfont><br>
        <smallfont>(note that any custom avatars will be deleted if you select this option)</smallfont></td>

        <td bgcolor="{firstaltcolor}" align="center" colspan="2"><normalfont><b>Choose your avatar from the available list:</b></normalfont></td>
</tr>
<tr>
        <td bgcolor="{secondaltcolor}" colspan="2" align="center">

</td></tr></table>

<br>

<table cellpadding="2" cellspacing="0" border="0" width="{contenttablewidth}" {tableinvisibleextra} align="center">
<tr>
        <td align="center"><normalfont>
        <input type="hidden" name="action" value="updateavatar">

        <input type="reset" class="bginput" name="reset" value="Reset Fields">
        </normalfont></td>
</tr>
</table>

</form>

$footer

</body>
</html>

The upload avatar function doesn't work neither from the Admin CP.

Attachment uploads work fine.

Thanks for the help.
