"Favorite Threads" Hack????
Ok...well here is yet another idea for a new hack (gee I hope someone actually makes this one, I keep proposing new ideas with no results...I am starting to get a complex!!!).
My site has many of it's senior members who have had a lot of truly great input in the past, that would do new members a world of good to read and an example to follow. Thus, I propose a "favorite thread" hack. One which would allow users to add threads to a publically viewable "favorites" list. Then, on viewing a users profile, you could click a link to view that persons favorite threads. I think this would give new board members the ability to follow the examples of those who have been around a while, and who know the ropes the best....as well allow more important threads to be viewed, without requiring them to be "stuck". |
That's a good idea. I don't know how to make it, but I like the idea. Maybe something in the profile that will have the threads show up on a separate page maybe?

That's what I meant :)

You did say that specifically didn't you, sorry. :) But I agree it is a great idea.

That's a good idea, and actually quite easy. Don't take my word on it but I'll try and do this. :)

just a reminder bump ;)
|
do you want it so they have multiple fav threads or just one?
|
multiple is good :)
