Supporter Perks (Re-release for 2.2.4)
 

This is a re-release of the supporter perks hack which was the result of this thread (I'm surprised that thread is actually still semi alive to this date). Anyway the original 2.0.3 hack is buried somewhere in that thread as I never bothered to release it in the hacks forum back then.

The avatar part of the hack was outdated and not working under 2.2.4, so here is an update for it.

Makes certain features (perks) available to community members who support your site via a donation (I can honestly say this hack helped my site stay online in the current crappy internet market) which are normally not activated.

Based on a new usergroup (+ mod & admins):
- activate custom title
- banner free browsing
- pop-up ad block
- activate custom avatar
- recognition title
- recognition graphic

As always, back up the goods before installing any hack :)

Is it possible to add Private Messaging function into this? As an administrator option if necessary. I think that PMs are a very useful addition to the forums, and one that is worth limiting to supporters if possible.
