ok, my friend gave me his vbulletin.zip and his old database. i tried to install his old database. and got this error.

Database error in vBulletin: Invalid SQL: SELECT template FROM template

i know i will be told about the information about being a paid customer. but here is the catch. he is giving me a database with members, and posts. without it working i have no need for the forum. so if i can get it running, i would gladly pay. i willPM the url to anyone so they can make sure of it once the forum is running. i just cant see paying, and if it wont upload because its currupted, i wont use it, so i will pay for it, and never use it. please be reasonable and help me.

sammy22, please go to this page and enter your username, to show you are licensed. (you will need to use your customer number and password to access that page) you need a liscence to even attempt to run vBulletin.
