mods can't moderate
I just upgraded to 2.24 or whatever today's latest upgrade ;) is and for some reason my moderators cannot moderate the message board. The moderators are in different user groups I created with moderator permissions. (My board is a little complex, I have supermods that have all access, and then mods. I also have a female board where the regular moderators do not have permission to even view much less moderate) I don't want them to be super moderators because they will then have all access. I have checked, double checked and rechecked again my forum permissions, so it is not that. Ever since I upgraded to 2.22 I have been having trouble with them not being able to moderate other boards besides their own. I have several hacks installed, but when I upgraded I tested it before modifying the php files (I thought that might be the problem) and they still were not able to moderate.
My definition of moderate (edit others posts, move threads, delete threads, etc.....) |

Is there a way I can give the moderators permission to have moderator powers in other boards without adding them to that particular moderator list? I know that 2.03 allowed it, but I need to find a way for it to be allowed with 2.24.

is this going to have to be a hack?
I wouldn't keep posting if I really didn't need help with it. Does anyone have any ideas? |
