request: disabeling signature for certain members
 

sorry I dont know much about php, but i think it would be very useful if there was a hack in the admin cp that would disable a member from using a signature.

I have made such an option possible by creating a usergroup that has no permission to access the control panel. We have signature limits on our forums and if someone repeatedly breaks that policy, they have their signature removed by an admin and are then placed into said usergroup with a nice little custom title that lets them and everyone else know. Works for me. :)

thanks for your reply,...so did you set "Can modify profile" to no?

It might be batter to make a hack for this even though the new usergroup with work.
