User's local time in profile
First, I would like to give credit to Firefly for the original hack, which allowed you to have a user's time appear in a post. After speaking with a few members from our board, they seemed to want the local time to be in a user's profile (getinfo) instead of post (postbit) to reduce clutter. By installing this hack, you can have the user's time in their set time zone appear in their profile (anywhere you put the variable in the template).
Tested on vBulletin 2.2.0, 2.2.1, 2.2.2, 2.2.3, 2.2.4, 2.2.5 File to modify: member.php Template to modify: getinfo For a sample, check out my profile on my board: http://www.gamingforce.com/forums/me...tinfo&userid=1 Enjoy! |
Tried it, but it doesn't work, even with tweaking of your code. Nothing shows up in the getinfo.

That's odd, I installed it on my board again and it works perfectly. Are you inserting the code correctly and in the right place? Make sure you place the code in the member.php file after the line shown. Also, what version of vBulletin are you using?

Works great for me! Thanks :D
|
Isn't this just adding Fireflys code to member.php? :tired:
|
Great job!
Thanks. |
Pretty much Pyschdrone, with changes to the array. Firefly did the original and I modded it up to work with the getinfo template. ;)

works well for me. Thanks!

One of my members came up with this idea to save pushing the profile button (lazy lot) how could this be done?
