US plans to use nuclear weapons against terrorism.

Well, the topic is a bit hard but you could read in the newspaper today that the US plans t use nuclear weapons in certain situations. They try to calm down telling that this is only "theory". However, the level to start sing nuclear weapons has dramatically sunk.
That won't help to stop terrorism or war. You can be sre that here will be a back-stroke. Actio=reactio as someone said some years ago...

I read somewhere they threatened Iraq with nuclear weapons in case they attack us.

I sware... This whole planet is going to be blowed to hell by the moves of a few short minded men.

coincidentally, I was reading an article where scientists believe close to 100,000 cancer related deaths over the last decade were due to nuclear testing....

So ... we nuke a hundred terrorists to potentially save the lives of a few thousand Americans - only to kill 1000% more by our own hands.

I love irony.

Who is "us"? The US or Israel?

Arms race started again... Russia and China surely won't only watch US doing this...
And well, drop nuclear bomb on Iraq and you will get the bill...Nuclear strike will involve the whole world. The radioactivity won't stop in Iraq's border...

hahahahaha...that's a good one Reeve :D

From what I understand, these are not full-fledged nuclear weapons. These are tactical nuclear weapons they are talking about. And while still deadly, and radioactive, they are not comparable to Hiroshima, Nagasaki, or any of today's standard ICBM's or other nuclear weapons. I believe they call these "FROGS"...But I forget the name of them....It's the term that was used during the Cuban Missile Crisis... :)
