modifying user post count
Hi Folks,
I'm converting my existing forums from dcboard to vBulletin. Right now there are existing posters with post counts that I want to keep. (i.e. Joe Blow has posted 500 times, Tom 300 times, etc) When Joe Blow registers at my new vBulletin board he'll be starting with 0 posts. I want to change his count to 500. How can I do it? Thanks ;) Phil |
Look for a hack about UBB, and fixing users... can't find it right now but if you look carefully you will find it.

FireFly-
Thanks for your reply. All I found was this which basically says 'yes you can', but I was hoping to find out 'how'. https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthrea...t=upping+count Any ideas? I guess I can manually edit the table to change the number for each user but will this change affect the board when I do maintenance to the database? In other words will the additional count I gave the user be lost? Thanks! |
