hide or lockdown function
 

i'm trying to install the hide function also known as lockdown i think. on vbb. anyone tell me where to find this "hack" or give me some pointers would be greatly appreciated. thanks all

ps heres a description. it hides the text between [hide][/hide] so that only admins, the thread start, and anyone who replies can see the content..

What are you talking about??? I am running ikonboard at the moment - but I am considering BUYING A LICENSE for VBB to run it. I am not running ANY Version of VBB at the moment - so get off my back!

Yep. Simple as that. I was just wondering because everyone that asks for a LOCKDOWN gets asked to enter the member area. So I was simply wondering if the hack could be found in that area. But obviously there is another reason for sending people to the members area.
