help with hacks
 
how do i install these hacks please any one help me installing a couple so i get the hang of it

Each hack has it's own set of instructions. You'll need to read and follow those instructions carefully.

One word of advice. Always make backups before applying any hacks. And try to do only one hack at a time and make sure your forum is working properly before moving on to the next one. (I know, that's more than one word!)

Also setting up a test board, privately, you can test hacks on is good.

install a web server type thingy like apache or micrsoft pws or iis (whichever comes with windows) , install PHP and mySQL move your vB files to the html folder (usually htdocs or httpdocs) start mySQL admin, make a database, start apache, then make changes to config.php and install it
