I have the options set in forums to display last post first. It is very important for me to be able to display first post first in a few specific forums. Can someone please throw in a quicky for me? If forum==xxx or forum==xxx or forum=xxx, display ascending and keep it like that (disable choice for members). Any help on that will be greatly appreciated. I am using to display chronological events.

Could you post that one more time.... but in a little more detail?

when you look at a forum, the thread are sorted by last threads first and people have the option to change it. For example, in this forum Requests, I posted a help call, it shows all the way on top.

In my particular case, I have some forums that I want to use for chronological events. I want for the first post ever that will be posted in there to be the first on top of the list, always. The second one to be the second and the newest one to be last.

This is done for a series of articles where admin only can start a new thread and others comment on it.

If you need more info, I could PM you the examples, but they are in French.

I am not sure where yet but you will have to put something like this in a mysql line ORDER BY startdate DESC.. or maybe a sort line or two..

also where forumid==xxx or forumid==xxx
