In the users control panel you can turn off avatars, sigs, and attached images, but what about a hack that made it possible to browse the forums using the printthread file.

So that it didn't load images at all and you could go up a level and it would stay in that printthread version until you clicked a button say, in the top right/left corner that made it return to normal.

This would be good, if the server goes laggy one day, you are temporarily on a computer with a modem, or are in a hurry to find the info you are in search for.

Oh, but I would want a place, to put banners, so that users can't get away from seeing banners by just switching to this "mode"

Is something like this possible? Even if it's not as extreme as I am talking about, I would like to hear some feedback from hackers and other users that might like something like this.
