I tried to do this in the same way that I've got a custom user title and the normal board 'member status' showing together, but it didn't work and gave an error in functions.php...

What I want to do is... Have a field the user enters in the edit profile (or when they register) which is what their avatar will link to... I also want the homepage to functions then seperately and as VB does by default...

I don't think it's difficult, I just thought I could do it and don't understand why it didn't work.

Of course if someone wants to link to their homepage via their avatar, they just fill in both the fields.
