So, What do you really hate to see on a website? I really hate forced voting, because you have to waste your time trying to vote for them, and it usally takes a long time, then their site stinks, but they get lots of people going ther because they get to the top of the topsite they make you vote for them in.

"automatically adding their site to your favorites" is the most that i hate. When i see a site with a forced-voting on it then i press alt-f4 ;)

I don't like them adding themselves to my favorites, but I can just delete them. But the forced voting makes it so you can't get to the top of any topsites. If you want to get to the top, you have to force people to vote for you, but I don't want to do that because it annoys the heck out of people. So the people at the top of topsites really aren't good at all.

Frames. Let me tell ya why...

Forced voting? Not really forced because you can just close the window.
A "Make this site your homepage" pop-up? Just hit cancel.
Automatically adding their site to your favorites? I can delete it later, no problems.

But frames... that's like a scar forever. :eek:

Any of those except frames will make me close the browser window and never come back. I don't like frames either but they're a lot better than the other options ;)

I hate the 'make this page your homepage'. Firefly's right, you can just cancel. But when your roommate or others are on teh computer and don't know better, you get on next time and Bam! There's a new homepage. Grrr! *lol*

I absolutely HATE, though, popups on pages. We are having problems with my home computer that any popup will completely lock the system, can't close the windows, can't reboot, nothing! I gotta turn off my computer by disconnecting power, and that sucks. So, that's what I really hate - popups.
