I've installed 4 hacks... none of them work. Do most hacks not work on 2.2.2 or something?

heh, well of course ;p anyway, i'm in the middle of changing directories, so i'm hoping that will help, i'm also reinstaling everything. is anyone else having trouble with hacks on 2.2.2?
