My server was hacked yesterday... totaly screwed up from what my service provider tells me. Anyway I had a few hacks on my VB board that required me to make some new tables.

My question is: When I do a fresh install and then reload my database backup will there be problem since some tables won't be there? Do I have to figure out which tables I had created before I reinstall the database backup?

I sure hope not, because I can't even remember all of the hacks I had included! From now on I will keep a log!

If you are lucky the MySQL-Database is NOT on your server. Try to make a DUMP of all tables to get a complete backup.

If you have all the PHP-Scripts local on your PC just upload and reconnect to the database. First view at your CONFIG.PHP if the settings are correct.
