I've done a search on the board and can't seem to find something that would do this, or didn't notice how any existing hack could be adapted for this idea I have. Any help or ideas would be appreciated.

The idea is to take a User Profile Field, say "Boat Type" and "Boat Size" from all the members in the database, then post a totals page showing the most popular boats and sizes.

I'm hoping to take that data and put it on the Portal front page or somewhere else on the site where members can see the most popular manufacturers, boat types, etc., from our entire membership.

I just saw a Top 5 Stats hack. I would think there's a way to edit the hack so it could find the info I'm looking for in the database to determine the top 5 boat types and sizes.

Where would I look to find the database field names to search on? This may work if I can figure out what fields to look for.
