I'm tired of having only a handful of my threads rated on my forum, so I want the rating form (in newreply.php) to be set at "3 ... Average" by default. Then, if the user doesn't bother to select some other rating, they're just going to give it an average one. Not only would this encourage people to rate threads, but it would also make sure that every thread at least has a rating.

I've tried a few minor template changes, but it has become clear that I'm going to need to do something more to actually make this work as intended. Can anyone help?

Heck, that would be nice. I would really like to see a way to see who rated the threads and what rating was given by each person rating it. It may already exist but I haven't been able to find it. There is some parasite on my board that goes around giving all of the decent threads 1 star, and I would like to find the culprit and zap him.
