Hello, and Thanks in Advance to anybody who can solve my problem.

Problem

I installed the Stars Hack by tubedogg which can be found at this link:

Everything has been working fine, however I noticed I am having to update everybody's user titles frequently otherwise the stars won't update. Basically, the stars dont' update themselves. I have to update everybody's user titles manually.

What's wrong and how do I solve the problem?

First!

You can define stars to usergroups so that every user in this group has the amount of stars and the starimg you defined for his usergroup (you have to refresh your user information everytime you change a usergroup!)

If you move a user to another group you have to refresh the user index again!

Or you can define stars to users wich a certan amoung of posts.

All this is done in the admin cp ;)

I do not completely understand what your are saying though. Okay, I have usergroups with special stars, like Moderators, Supermods, and Administrators, but thats not the problem because those stars never change anyway.

The issue is with the regular Registered user where their stars change depending on how many posts they have. The problem is that I get complaints because their stars do not change by themselves as their post count goes up. I have to update the User Titles of all the members manually.

Do u have defined the amount of post to gt to a higher group in the admin cp???

no, the user will always remain a "Registerd" user, and does not change usergroups as the posts go up. Only the amout of stars they have goes up.

You have a separat fuction for usertitles in your admin cp!

There u can add a Usertitel and the amount of post a user needs to get this title!

I have an other star hack cause I don?t need so much stars ;) but I think if your users get more stars if they post more then the hack works fine
