OK, I have a vB running at http://62.31.3.74, but every time I visit it tells me there has been "x new posts since your last visit". Now when I see what the "new" post is I discover that I have already read the post before!!!

Please help me :)

By default, vbulletin uses cookies to determine what you've read. If you delete your cookie, the item will shown as unread. There are a few hacks that allow you transfer the 'mark-as-read' function from cookies to the database.
