can anyone create a script for duplicate links so when someone posts a link to something and that link was already posted on another message, the user would not be allowed to post the link? thanks

That would be nice. Except make it so that is doesn't check for links to threads on the forums. Sometimes mods need to be able to post a link to a thread, when someone posts a duplicate thread. so that person will be able to find the correct thread to post in. Sometimes this happens more than once too.
