I've finally got a working method that will allow email notification to be turned on, but will never cause a thread to hang because of the php/sendmail conflict. I have tested it on my own board, and it works perfectly. However this "hack" requires an outside cgi script (a slightly modified version of form mail) to be called from within newreply.php for it to work. Is this still a hack, or should I not post it?
