Not too great for people with smaller screen res's, but I like it nonetheless :)

What do you think? --> http://www.ultimatemetal.com/forum/index.php?s=

I think it looks pretty cool MarkB, I have yet to see a forum that was designed like that, nice work and keep up the great work with your website as well.

I like metal but I am more into Horrorcore music and Underground music such as ICP, Twiztid, Kottonmouth Kings, Corporate Avenger, ect. Although I do like your forum :)

Thanks for the comments :D

No problem....

Maybe you could help me out, I am not sure if you are familair with the Horrorcore artists or not, but since you run a music forum, maybe you can help anyway.

Would you Group the artists or would you make seperate forums for each individual artist/band? There are not too many but I would like to get the opinion for one that is already running such as music site that does have popularity.

Thanks, keep up the good work.

I'd make seperate forums for each band (since fans of one might not be fans of another) -- with a 'general' forum seperate to all of them for people to mingle outside of the specific band forums. This has worked well for me.

For example (based on my forums), fans of Opeth are not necessarily fans of Area 54, but they talk music in the general forum and become friends, when they might not if they shared just one forum and ignored posts about bands they didn't like.

If this makes sense! :D LOL

(btw, by 'forums' I'm assuming you mean forums within a main discussion board, like mine...?)

See my signature for the address to the board, and what you said makes perfect sense, I just needed a second opinion from someone who runs a website somewhat like mine in a way.

Thanks for the help, I am working on my forums now, so I hope to have things done by this weekend (if possible).

I'm glad I could help :) And I look forward to seeing your board online!
