We had a database crash and in our newbie status started our forum over instead of contacting the host for repair. Well, I got the bright to ask if there was anything they could do and viola', our old database is repaired and seems to be working. My question is, can we merge the two databases without screwing anything up. I was going to create a third database to do this as a test, but I figured I'd ask first.

I am working on a script to merge databases for myself and a couple of other people - there is a thread about it in the Requests forum. You're welcome to use it when it's finished if you want (though I can't offer any promises as to when that will be).
