No, I told you, the VB actual community DOESNT WORK. I cant login. So I am trying here.

My problem was with smileys. This is what I'd do:

Smilie File: (would be something like C:\WINDOWS\DESKTOP\Smilies\Grin.jpg)
Name: Grin
Text to replace: 8D
Path to image: images/smilies/grin.jpg

What am I doing wrong?

I enter my user name and password, then the window comes up again, I do the same thing, it comes up again, I do the same thing, it goes to a page saying my username/password is incorrect when I wrote it down and copied it carefully. This is the second time I have signed up there since none of those times it worked.

You should have a got an e-mail from Jelosoft, copy and paste what you got

What do you mean you get vB for free without ads. Is it vB Lite? Or did soemone give you a copy of the full vB (illegal)?
If you have a paid licence maybe your member's access has expired. When did you buy your licence from Jelsoft? If you bought it over a year ago then you have to pay $35 to get another year's access. What version of vB do you have?

You admit to having a pirated version of vBulletin in another thread in this very forum and then turn around and ask for help?

I have to say this takes a lot of nerve.

Either he is really dumb or is this how they act when they try and get support here? Another possibilty (VERY remote): he doesn't understand that it's a pirated version :rolleyes:
