First off, It's just a vague idea and I want to get it all out of my head before it slips away from me :)

Since most vB's have a hard time starting up, I was wondering about an automated link-back system. It would also include a control panel within the Admin CP where the Administrator(s) could choose to have each submitted link automatically added, or have to wait for them to approve of. They could also delete site listings or edit their description and URL. Stuff like that.

For example:

User goes to such and such website, goes to the "link back" section, fills out a form much like at vbulletin.com/links.php, except it will have a series of categories you can choose from that best describes the general atmosphere and focus of your forums. When you submit it, it would either automatically be added or submitted to the queue line for the administrator to review and look at.

Sound awesome or what? :)
