Since the Seach and Wordindex is getting really big, I have a little idea: Just have a look an this: http://www.mysql.com/doc/F/u/Fulltext_Search.html

There seems to be a very good fulltext search in mySQL itself, why shouldnt vbulletin use it?

the problem is that it does not support boolean search.
