I have some super moderators on my forums and some admins, but us admins arent on all the time, and we dont want the supermoderators to have access to the CP, because its kinda dangerours when a lot of people have cp access, so were limiting that amount. But what im getting to is, Im requesting if someone could make a hack where only Super Moderators get Partial CP access, and in the hack you set what permissions they have in the cp. In my situation I only want My Supermoderators, Only one of them to have access to the forums part, where you control your forums name, add and delete them

could that be made, where only the super moderator can ONLY edit, add, and delete forums

But this is where it gets a little different.

could it be made where you assign certain super mods to certain parts... like I want this SUPERMOD 1 to control this part and SUPERMOD2 to control this part

i know this will be helpful to alot of site owners.. could someone do this..... James at Vbulletin.com told me its possible, so we know its possible :)

That would be an extremely hard hack. Try asking FireFly or any of the other top hackers, I'm sure it would be a challenge for them :)

baaaaaa! I asked before and no one could do it!

I personaly don't see whats so hard about it!

The hack would look something like this!

IF you want your MOds to have acces to this

-------Then in sert this codes in Blank.php

PHP Code:

The code

Or maybe in the useracess masks, could create it there?

but whatever it is, this would be extremely usefull! peps~

Another request for this one....

Umm.. you use a timestamp, and in useraccess masks you have a setting.. example:
Partial AdminCP Access(checkbox)
Time Allowed(textbox hour)(textbox mins)(textbox secs)

then some code editing and adding I believe.

Any news on this hack yet?

Not likely considering two years have passed...

sjau 04-20-2003 08:28 PM

it's a pity!
