If I set in the options to "contract posts I've already read" and go to a new thread it contracts all posts after the first post even if I never read any of those posts before.

Is this an error?

Are you sure these are new posts that are hidden?
Because it works great for me.

Its because of the cookie timeout. It would be so much better if the system actually tracked the if you did read the thread or not instead of using a cookie to time it out.

Think you could hack that Firefly...that would be a good one. :)

I have the same problem on my forum. It contracts ALL the posts. Even the ones I've never read :(
