I want to make the user details pages a little more interesting. Right now I've got people with 15+ lines of signature with whole quote collections, life stories, pictures, etc. Instead of putting restrictions on that I'd like to offer the user details page as a sort of personal mini-homepage area.

Maybe it would be cool to make a photo upload function. (So you can have both an avatar and a profile photo.) Also, instead of that one-line biography field, it would be cool if every user could write a bit of text (with the same functions as forum posts or PMs) which would tell a bit about themselves, give links to cool sites, whatever.

It's not exactly a big hack, but maybe it'll inspire someone to make something of this idea :D

I think the profile pages aren't very personal in vB. They just list a couple of facts ya know :D
