So this is my problem:
I have a LogIn field on my page, where the user has to log in with his forum data. This data is saved in a session.

Now here is my question:
A user is correctly logged in and when clicking a link to the forum, how is it possible that it correctly identifies the user with his data without using the auto login cookie.

Which variables do I have to hand over?
