migrate from vb3 to vb5 (old urls)

Hi..

I just upgraded from vb3 to vb5 and need a solution to show the old vb3 thread using the format domain.com/vb/showthread.php?

when I tried some of the urls and removed '/vb' it works.

so, how can I remove '/vb' from the url before passing it to vb5?
