Return to Vbulletin from Xenforo

Hi guys, last August I switched from Vbulletin 4 to Xenforo on the advice of an advertiser (to try to solve a problem with Adsense, which then was not solved ...). But at the moment I'm not happy with Xenforo. I preferred Vbulletin, even for the many extra (and free) plugins. I have found (and I'm not the only one) a drop in page views. This is caused by Ajax and Xenforo's overlays (few pages reloaded). I want to wait another month but I'm seriously considering returning to Vbulletin 4. What would be the most important problem, in your opinion? I know that Vbulletin 4 is at the end of its life, but there are many forums that are also great with Vbulletin 3. For safety, there would be no problem considering I have Sucuri.

To go from a fully supported responsive platform with a great addon community to an unsupported massively out of date mobile-unfriendly platform with a dead addon community is, to say the least, a really bad idea.

You should try to work through your problems with XF or try to find another supported platform that meets your needs, vbulletin is not a solution to anything for anybody.

I tested Xenforo. In my opinion vB5 is more complete in terms of design (layouts) and also complete for the rest than Xenforo.

And more complete in terms of interaction between members than vB3 and probably vB4. I have never used vB4 but I still use vB3. Compared to vB3, I use very few plugins under vB5 because it is not necessary. I work more on templates.

I like vB5 and plan to upgrade but XenForo has way more support and community than vB5 community.

vB5 has so few add-ons and I wonder if there is a future for vBulletin?
