When an image is attached to post, the image is supposed to be available in the "attachment manager" for 1 hour until a scheduled task cleanses it out.

I know some versions of VB 4 have an issue with this ( I believe it is 4.2.3? ), where the scheduled task did not cleanse out the attachment from "attachment manager". These attachment are still available in the "attachment manager" even after they are deleted by the user through: My settings>miscellaneous>attachment.

Does anyone know how or where to fix this bug ( other than migrating to a new version ) or know where these attachment files are held for the "attachment manager"?
