Strange Folk
Has anyone noticed any groups of individuals registering on their sites.
By groups, usually in twos and threes, all using a similar email client. Commonly they describe themselves as in their 20's but born in the 70's and 80's ( education's not what it used to be :D ). This has been happening now on our Poetry Forum for a few months. One other commonality, they rarely confirm registration. Latest group using AT @lihui.lookin.at, previous ones, include AT dedi.m8sbeingm8s.com, AT hendricksen18.roastedtastyfood.com All got past the spam filters. I'm pruning them out after a week or so if they haven't confirmed registration - but it all seems rather odd. |
Undoubtedly human spammers. They are out there. I suggest you use the aggressive banning function that blocks emails from the end of the address.
