Auto Avatar on Registration

Is there a way to automatically assign an avatar to all new members? I found this old mod but its broken:

Thank you. This was last updated in 2010. Anything more recent? I was hoping that a random avatar would be assigned rather than all users being given the same avatar.

You have chosen to make your new site on completely obsolete software, you are going to find most of the addons haven't been updated in many years and many won't work on newer versions of PHP, before you go any further with the project you really should question if you are using the right platform.

I don't recall seeing such feature or plugin for vBulletin 5.
