Rotating Banner broke on 5.5.6

So I had my titleimage set to a php script that pulled a random image out of the banners folder. With the 5.5.6 update that stopped working. I think it has to do with the new .htaccess permissions.

Any idea of how I can get that working again, or, a better way of doing random header banners?
