I am looking for someone or company that can handle my forum and keep it running smoothly and updated.

are there companies that provide these services?

You should look into vBulletin Cloud. No one is better at maintaining vBulletin 5 than the people who developed the software.

Vbulletin cloud is the best however you will lose some customization features
