How to add a functioning attachment button to quick reply?
 

Hi all, i cant work out how to add a functioning attachment button to quick reply, i have created a plug in where i have added the PHP and CODE bbcode tags, when i add ATTACH i get the paperclip icon but clicking it just shows a small empty box, so no selection of files from pc or url....etc like normal.

Anyone have any ideas?

I've just installed 1.7 and it doesn't seem to have any options to add the upload paperclip as requested.

For years I've wanted that functionality myself but there has only been one mod that I know of that has done it, however, it caused all sorts of stuff to screw up on my sites at the time and is currently quarantined here https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=313277 I'm sure it could be found elsewhere if you wanted to pick through the code.

The solution I've used as a sort of workaround is vbsocial's drag and drop but I think that site is now abandoned and the mod unavailable (I'm glad I stored a copy).

Hi Mark, i looked at that and it doesn't have the attachment, if you add attach in the plugin it shows the paperclip but it doesnt operate.

Sorry, I thought you were talking about attaching images inline.
