DBTech's product gives you a button on the toolbar, and clicking it shows a dropdown menu of the templates you've defined. So, it does take two clicks, but offers a great deal more flexibility than a button that only allows one canned reply.

From what I understood the dbtech don't give me the option to choose a forum, isn't it?

I think you're right on that...there is no per forum permission for post templates.
