How to hide a channel

Hi guys.... how can I hide a channel?

I put '0' on display order, but I still viewing all the channels? I'm wrong?

I know you can do it through the channel permissions and can select what user group can see it or not.

Try to clean the system-cache.

You done right with 0 in display-order.
