Switch from a fixed to fluid style

In the admincp> Styles management

1) Select the style to modify and click " Variable style editor"

2)Looking> "wrapper_max_width"

Change px to %
Modify dimension: 1200 to 95

Save

Your style it's now extended to 95% of your desktop. :cool:
