Visitor Messages

Hi,

Just a quick question:

I frequently receive emails notifications saying that someone just posted on my Visitor Messages, Example:

"Captain Canardly has just posted in the Visitor Messages forum of ***** RC Forums under the title

This topic is located at https://forum.******.com/node/765 "

When I follow that link there is nothing there.

What is this visitor messages thing? Is it an exploit on vbulletin or just some misconfiguration?
